Atlantic Breeders Incentive Program ("ABI") is designed to promote the breeding of reining horses in the eastern United States and in Canada. The money collected, including the nomination fees paid by the owners of the enrolled stallions, and the nomination fees paid by the breeders (mare owners), are distributed in a Three Year Old Futurity and a Four, Five, and Six Year Old Derby. The first Ann

ual Futurity was held July 1998 at the Eastern Agricultural Center in Williamston, NC, and is currently hosted by the Carolina Fall Classic Futurity in October. The Four, Five, and Six Year Old Derby Division started in 2003 and is currently held in conjunction with the Carolina Classic Derby.
