Lubec Community Outreach Center The LCOC’s mission is to remove barriers to improve the lives of people in our community.

Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 noon. Our Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Saturday each month from 9:30am- 12 noon and is available to neighbors in Lubec, Whiting, Cutler, Trescott and Dennysville. Shout out to Jane Lanctot and Vanessa Young for their commitment to youth in our community. AND gratitude to the PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS who showed up to cheer them on- Together, we are growing future leaders!

The Lubec Community Outreach Center is proud to share this incredible accomplishment by our very own Anna Williams whose work is on display at the - the fabric for this quilt is the result of Anna’s work using dyeing techniques on various fabrics and then capturing their color and beauty in her quilted masterpiece… Judge’s Choice award- Anna, You are always OUR CHOICE! Anna will be back soon and we will be offering expanded fiber and fabric workshops for our community featuring the teaching talent of this amazing human!

Thank you to all who joined our garden party last Friday. Mother Nature provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration alongside our new garden shed mural (thank you Alison Ross!) and pergola learning space! FIVE teens showed up to serve up sno-cones and facepainting with a smile. Bouncy house, lemonade, cupcakes and friends! Lubec Community Outreach Center’s garden was dedicated to Susan Doyle whose commitment to teaching our kids about growing things has gone above and beyond! We love you, Sue! See you all in the garden!
