Greetings local music fans! It's time for us to say goodbye after 8 years.
I'd like to thank all of the music fans plus LAMPS' directors, volunteers and partners for helping us to bring you over 70 concerts, music workshops and other events over the years. During our time operating in Lubec, you all helped us not only pay many talented musicians but also to raise a combine $26,000 for local food pantries, humane societies, Downeast Hospice Volunteers and Lubec fuel funds. You helped us to maintain the stage at Stockford Park and the Lubec bandstand. You also helped us launch a music education program at local elementary schools. Plus, we gave away $4000 of scholarships to local students studying music at the university level. Thanks!!
It's been a blast. I will remember this period fondly and look back our achievements with great pride. Thanks again and we'll all see you around the neighborhood.
