It is the Guild's intent to nurture and promote creativity, while fostering a community awareness of clay as an art form. As an organization we have artists working in a variety of mediums including clay, metal, glass, photography, wood, textiles, jewelry, and mixed media. We offer workshops and other special events for the artist to enjoy and in
which to participate in. The Llano Estacado Clay Gu
ild (LECG) participates during the First Friday Art Trail, Lubbock Arts Festival, Annual Trunk Show, Annual LECG Exhibition at LHUCA, and hosts the annual Wine and Clay Festival at the Llano Estacado Winery. We are an organizational member of the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts and a member of the Lubbock Arts Alliance. Most of our members are artists living and working near Lubbock, TX.
