Christ in the Arts

Christ in the Arts Christ in the Arts is a non-profit School of the Arts, specializing in classical ballet with an emphasis in dramatic dance to convey truth through motion.

The foundation of what we do is our school of the arts. The school itself is structured similarly to a traditional ballet school with eight progressive levels culminating in an advanced Company. This ballet-based program is structured to maximize growth in strength, flexibility, and technique with the goal of ever-increasing artistic expression of each dancer as is appropriate for any given level.

And though there is no attempt to hide the fact that ballet is a very multi-faceted and challenging discipline (students sometimes find it hard to believe that such a beautiful art form can be so hard!), there is in our studio a felt environment, both from teachers and fellow-students, of real encouragement and personal care for each person that helps each one to work through the challenges and do what was previously thought impossible. Thus, rather than competition among dancers, an esprit de corps is fostered, with love for each other being the perennial goal.
