The Federal Communications Commission today voted to eliminate 2015's Open Internet Order, which included net neutrality protections, with Chairman Ajit Pai calling for internet regulations to be "driven by engineers" as opposed to "lawyers and accountants." The vote ran along party lines, with Democratic Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel stating that the decision "puts the Federal Communications Commission on the wrong side of history, the wrong side of the law, and the wrong side of the American public."
