We wanted to so something special for our graduating seniors this year, so we hosted one last get together and had them participate in FIRST Signing Day! FIRST Signing Day allowed us to honor our seniors and let them sign for the RoboRaiders and their respective FTC teams and what future plans are in store for them!
We would now like to give our seniors a most deserved shoutout!
Mari Wisner is from the Talkington School for Young Women Leaders and started out with FIRST for FTC during the 2017 Relic Recovery season and later joined the RoboRaiders during 2018 for Power Up! While she delved into all the aspects of robotics, she really grew as a programmer and did really well in programming competitions and even won her FTC team the Control Award on multiple occasions! She will be studying computer science at Austin College in Sherman Texas!
Paulina Nopal, also from the Talkington School for Young Women Leaders and joined FTC 2017 and FRC 2018, grew to be very artistic and musically talented, as far as even winning medals for her hard work! She was also a big help in showing the magic of FRC and the RoboRaiders to her peers and was a big help in giving the RoboRaiders ideas for the community! She will be studying art direction at Texas Tech University!
Anthony Paone is from All Saints Episcopal School, and joined FRC in 2018 and did FTC later in 2019! He grew to be highly skilled in CAD, making all sorts of well engineered designs throughout his time on the RoboRaiders! He also was very dedicated to his school's FTC team, making sure to make his last season the best it could be! His hard work paid off, as his FTC team one the inspire award at the district championship! He will be joining the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs!
Overall we could not be more proud of what these students have accomplished! They were amazing additions to the RoboRaiders and to thier FTC teams! We wish them the best of luck in their next stage in life and we know they will do great things moving forward!
