This organization was created by the agents of Keller Williams Lubbock to help facilitate unexpected needs that may arise in our community of family and friends. Agents in Action is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization, that was established in April 2007 by the agents of the Lubbock Keller Williams Market Center. Agents in Action provides financial assistance to support Keller Williams associates a
nd their families, as well as, approved community needs. Agents in Action is primarily funded through its Board of Directors that is made up of our Lubbock Keller Williams associates and vendors. AIA has raised and distributed over $210,000 since its formation. HOW DID AIA GET STARTED? Agents in Action was modeled after KW Cares. KW Cares was the brainchild of Keller Williams’s agents who had a dream to reach out and support fellow KW associates facing financial hardship due to major emergencies. Mo Anderson, vice chairman of Keller Williams Realty, took this dream and brought it to fruition as a public charity. Today, KW Cares is supported by associates from across North America. It has truly become the heart of the Keller Williams culture in action, finding and serving the higher purposes of business through charitable giving in the market centers and communities where KW associates live and work. 72 hours after Hurricane Katrina, KW Cares International, had raised over $5.3 million dollars and made National news across the country. The heart and soul of Keller Williams was known nationwide. As of April 2014, Agents in Action has raised approximately $210,000.
