Hello, Friends! The funding goals were not able to be secured to keep the bookshop open, so we're sad to say that the bookstore will not be able to reopen in September.

We'll be liquidating the bookshop this week, so come on by to stock up your TBR for the coming cozy, autumn season!

As for the Wild Lark Books Fund nonprofit organization, we're not going anywhere! And we're still here Supporting the Art of Storytelling! Our Board is growing as is our involvement in the community, and we would love for you to continue being a part of it. Thank you all!

Support the Art of Storytelling. The Wild Lark Books Fund is producing a play! A dramatic Western featuring characters who must survive, dare to love, and are determined to stand up for what they believe in sounds like just the play for us - and for Lubbock. And all proceeds from ticket sales go to support our programming and mission, so please come join us!

This production features the collaborative talents of so many Lubbockites and showcases not only the insane talent in this city - but also the incredible heart and passion that its people have. We so hope you are able to come and join us at The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences to see what happens when folks from all over Lubbock come together to make magic happen - to tell a story!

While the show holds all of the nostalgic swagger of the 1962 film, this stage adaptation written in 2014 by Jethro Compton holds brilliant additions that suits the play for more mature audiences. The emotions and visualizations can be triggering. More info is available in the link above.

Thank you, all! We'll see you at Buddy Holly Hall!
