The 2024 Unmasking ALS Masquerade Balll is quickly approaching! Join us as we raise awareness and funds for patients and families who are battling ALS (“Lou Gehrig’s Disease” in West Texas.). Proceeds from this event stay local and benefit local families.

Thank you Valerie (and Eddie!) for taking the time and effort to submit a nomination for this award. Thank you as well to Nexstar Media for this incredible opportunity and generous donation to the West Texas and South Plains ALS Support - Texas. This donation helps us continue to provide education, support, and equipment for individuals and families who are battling ALS in our region. It is also another step forward to beginning a clinic here in Lubbock, so our patients can receive the skilled care they need while fighting. All donations stay local to help local families and our organization is run by a volunteer board to keep every penny possible going back to our PALS.

The West Texas Walk to End ALS is THIS SATURDAY!! Lubbock Christian University is hosting the walk on their campus this year! We are SO EXCITED ti have their support! We would love to see you and your family there!

Here is a link to the Texas ALS Walk registration page. It SHOULD take you directly to sign up under the Guns Up for ALS Team. If it doesn’t- it should give you the option to “start a team” or “join a team.” You would select “join a team” and search our name! It is free to participate- but you have the option to donate to our walk team during registration! (Funds raised through this website towards our walk team go to the Texas ALS Association!)
