Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS was proud to be part of the 2026 Family Fun Fair - an incredible event celebrating children with physical and intellectual disabilities, all while creating an inclusive environment where every child could participate, play, and have fun.

Our AmTryke race track gave children the opportunity to experience adaptive tricycles designed to provide greater mobility, independence, and confidence. The smiles, excitement, and determination we witnessed throughout the day were unforgettable.

We were also grateful to spend time with the student physical therapists from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center as they learned how adaptive AmTrykes are measured, fitted, and customized to meet the unique needs of each rider.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, families, and community partners who made this event possible. Events like these remind us why our mission matters and how powerful it can be when a community comes together to create opportunities for everyone.

To the children who joined us on the track — thank you for letting us be part of your day. You made ours even better. ❤️

Tuesday was a special day for Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS as we had the opportunity to give away 3 AmTrykes to some incredible kids in our community!

A huge thank you to our physical therapists who help fit each child for their custom AmTryke, and to the Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS members who dedicate their time to assembling these bikes, coordinating applications, and facilitating presentation days for these families.

Last night was a special evening for Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS as we celebrated our 2026–2027 Installation Banquet, inducted 3 new members, and installed our new officers for the upcoming year.

Rachel’s story and mission to help families receive life-changing mobility equipment is something you won’t want to miss. We’ll also be sharing a BIG announcement during the meeting.

We had the honor of hearing from Billy Cheek with Texas Girls & Boys Ranch, sharing the incredible impact they’re making in the lives of youth right here in our community.

We also enjoyed having Downtown AMBUCS join us to share about the upcoming ABC Rodeo. They are actively looking for volunteers. If you’re interested in helping out, come talk to us and we’ll get you plugged in.
