NOW AVAILABLE IN THE MUSEUM SHOP!

We are excited to now carry "The Story the Bones Tell" by our own beloved MaTTUA member, Sally Logue Post!

In this fascinating book, Sally takes readers through 12,000 years of history at the Lubbock Lake Landmark, exploring the archaeology, discoveries, people, and stories that have shaped this remarkable place right here in our own community.

Sally spent 25 years at Texas Tech University in communications and marketing, including time with the Museum at Texas Tech University, and we are so proud to celebrate one of our own!

After you grab your copy in the Museum Shop, be sure to visit the corresponding exhibition, "Yellowhouse Draw Diaries: Photographs of the Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark", on view September 2026 through Spring 2027.

And there’s more to come! We’ll be hosting a special Gallery Talk with Sally at the end of October, featuring the exhibition and her book. MaTTUA members, be on the lookout in your mailbox for more details!

Get ready for one of Lubbock’s favorite nights of the year! ✨

The 12th Annual Art on the Llano Estacado Gala returns Friday, June 26, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Helen DeVitt Jones Sculpture Court at the Museum at Texas Tech University- and this year’s show is going to be incredible!

Featuring artwork from talented artists across the country, this year includes 7 exciting new artists along with many returning favorites you know and love. From breathtaking paintings and sculpture to photography and mixed media, this year’s show will feature an incredible variety of beautiful artwork available for purchase throughout the weekend.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of fine art, cocktails, dinner, live music, and great company while supporting the Museum at Texas Tech University Association and its mission to bring enriching exhibitions and educational programs to our community.

Tickets are $200 per person or $1,600 for a table of 8.
