After breakfast this morning, we walked around the mall, to work some breakfast off. Then we took a little drive around the area to see the sites. We found a beautiful lake that was great for some down/chill/relaxing time. We also drove by Augusta National where the Masters golf tournament is played. Of course you can't go in, as it's a very private elite club. But was fun to at least get close.

Made it to Augusta, found a great steakhouse near where we're staying the night. We decided to splurge since we had a difficult time finding a place to stay. All the nice places are booked. Our rooms, not the best, but grateful we found a place as there are a couple conventions going on in town.

Got a late start this morning, didn't get up till 7. We were almost to the Alabama border, so passed into that quickly. Birmingham has a nice little city scape. We just stopped for gas over the Georgia line, so we're at least in the correct state now. 😁

We've stopped for the night in Meridian, Mississippi. 13 hours on the road today, makes for a shorter day tomorrow for Mike.

Took Mike to lunch today in honor of Veterans Day. So many restaurants here in Lubbock give Veterans free meals today. ❤️🇺🇲 Thank you for your service, and thank you Cotton Patch for honoring our vets. 🙌
