is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that creates intentional communities to serve our veterans by providing economic housing, continuing education opportunities, and practical living. Vision Statement:
Noxbox plants communities for veterans with the purpose of establishing neighborly relationships, growing support systems, nurturing independence, and producing stability and esteem through indep
endance and security. We achieve our purpose and change lives by developing communities where people may live independently through an organic lifestyle while learning a variety of skills. We create a beautifully landscaped neighborhood with a community garden and hydroponic greenhouse to provide food for the neighborhood, as well as supplemental income for our communities from the sale of any surplus. Our happy chickens produce not only eggs for food and income, but provide therapeutic companionship for our neighbors. Neighborhood members will learn about plants, poultry, production, and productivity while building a community and learning to serve their neighbors. We will provide educational opportunities centered around good mental health, nutrition, interpersonal relationships, raising chickens, gardening and food production in a hydroponic greenhouse. Workshops centering around farming, small business development, home ownership and maintenance, basic finances, regional gardening, landscape design and maintenance will be offered throughout the year in our Community Center to provided additional support to our neighborhood.
