Foster care is a calling, and the need for loving, stable foster homes has never been greater. Mariah Glidewell, FCH Supervisor, and Melanie McKenzie joined 2nd Cup to share Saint Francis Ministries’ biggest need—more foster families to provide safe and supportive homes for children in our communities.

🌟 Saint Francis Foster Care Recruitment Event Recap! 🌟

Yesterday at the Patterson Branch Library Homeschoolers Movie Day, our Saint Francis Foster Care team had the honor of connecting with the East Lubbock community! 🍿 We brought popcorn, hosted raffles, gave out exciting door prizes, and most importantly, shared information about the critical need for foster homes in our area.

My favorite thing about being a social worker is advocating for our children and families. Nothing feels better than being apart of the change!

Outside of work I love spending time with family and friends making memories! I enjoy powerlifting competitively and am currently going to graduate school for my masters degree!

My passions are being the best mom I can be and building an amazing foster care team to help children/families in need.
