WillowFarms Community Willow Farms - All-breed equine rescue center. We are located in Loxley, AL Willow Farms is a Federally recognized 501-C-3 certified non profit agency.

All donations and adoptions are Tax Deductible. We provide shelter and adoption opportunities for equines and canines.

Retired and have time on your hands? Consider volunteering and if you don't know anything about horses, you will learn a lot. It's hot, it's cold , it's rainy and we do it all out in the weather. Feed, clean water troughs, clean paddocks, groom and medicate horses. But it can all be very rewarding..

Our big boy went down on us six or seven times last night and when he goes down you don't get in his way fortunately he is much better today thanks to Dr Zack last night and Dr Kristin this morning. Pictures we're not on my mind at the time.

Just a reminder we have paddocks open for four boarders. Boarding fees are $300 monthly if you volunteer to feed one morning or afternoon a week which usually takes about 2 hours. Boarding includes feed, hay and pasture rotation. We have a farrier who comes every 6 weeks.

So far this year our rescue intake has been very low. Which I'm hoping is a good sign. Maybe it means that people are stepping up and taking responsibility for their animals. But keep in mind if you can't financially care for your horses and are in need of assistance or rehoming contact us.
