Loxley Fire Department had a great time visiting with the Pre-K children at Odyssey Church in Loxley!

Lt. Folsom, Chaplain Sharon Folsom, and FF Liendo joined members of the Loxley Police Department and MedStar Ambulance to spend some time with the kids and introduce them to our local first responders.

The children got to:
🚒 Check out the fire truck and firefighter equipment
🔥 Learn about basic fire safety
☎️ Talk about when and how to call 911
🚑 Tour the ambulance and see some of the medical equipment
🚓 Meet members of the Loxley Police Department — including one of their four-legged partners!
A big thank you to Odyssey Church for inviting us out and giving us the opportunity to spend time with these young members of our community.
We love getting out into the community, especially when we have the chance to teach children about safety and help them become comfortable with the firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel who are here to help them.
