Nyambe is stunning with his high contrast pattern. Comprised mostly of spots, a cheetah has only two stripes that run down the side of their nose from each eye. These stripes divert sunlight from the cheetah’s eyes during broad daylight, their most active time of day.
Do you know what these stripes are called?

Ozzy has stepped into his parents’ shoes and taken a swim in the big pool! With the support from his keepers, Ozzy was confident enough to take the plunge, and his instincts kicked in immediately! Ozzy loved paddling around and exploring the endless possibilities that come with the big jaguar enclosure under supervision. While Ziggy is still splashing in the shallow end, it’s only a matter of time before he gets his ears wet so stay tuned!

Say cheese!

While Bruce’s smile is stunning, his resting look only shows a fraction of what his mouth is capable of. Clouded leopards have the longest upper canine teeth relative to their skull size of any living cat, and they have the ability to open their jaws to an astounding 107 degrees!

Come visit Bruce and the rest of the Panther Ridge family on a tour! Go to pantherridge.org or call 561-795-8914 to schedule

Join us in wishing a very Happy 9th Birthday to Onyx!
Onyx is our stunning melanistic jaguar that is as bold in her personality as she is in coat color. She enjoys rough housing with her mate Mateo, getting tour snacks, and playing with enrichment. Take a tour with us to learn why protecting these apex predators is so important.

Come visit Onyx by calling 561-795-8914 or go to pantherridge.org/tours
