Many years ago Jim Freeman wanted to help out parents that had a hard time making ends meet, and he started what now is known as Christmas Sharing. Then he handed over the rains to Nancy Hanno who did a fantastic job. Now both have passed and a tribute to them was at the Christmas Sharing site today. Thanks Jim and Nancy for all you did for the families who needed extra help at Christmas.

We would like to express our gratitude to Julie Farney, Lewis County Christmas Sharing Calendar Coordinator, and her team of volunteers who sold calendars to support the Lewis County Christmas Sharing program. Their tireless efforts resulted in raising $10,840 for Christmas Sharing, which provides gifts for families in need during the holiday season. Sue Burnham and Mike Hanno accept the check on behalf of Lewis County Christmas Sharing. We also extend our appreciation to the generous individuals who purchased calendars. The calendar features a daily drawing throughout December, with one or two winners selected each night.
