Last night a few of the Lowry Legends 4-H Club members gathered and helped package meal kits for the Pay It Forward Pope County to ensure those in need have food for the Holidays! The youth learned what it takes to put together meal kits, examples of who may receive the kits and true meaning of the gift of giving. We want to give a huge thank you to the elf who started this wonderful meal planning, Minnewaska Meat Processors for matching our donation to provide hamburger, Kadejan Market for matching our donation of chicken breast, and for the beef roast provided to the amazing people in our own community that needed a little extra joy this holiday season.
