It was a beautiful day to tidy up the park for the last few weeks of fall.

Thank you to all the volunteers that were able to make it. We appreciate the hard work.

There is now a playhouse at the Lowry Park!
We’re having a work day on Sunday, October 6th. Come about 3:00 pm. We’d love to have some help in cleanup of the play space! Hopefully, we’ll accomplish more on our nature playground next summer now that the highway project is nearing completion.

The kids have been playing in the new sandpit during every season - rolling logs, climbing boulders, digging sand, building forts.

Our committee had a productive meeting tonight and refocused our efforts after a quiet winter. Exciting things are coming!

We’re ready for the beginning stage of a fun transformation for Lowry Community Park.

Our goal for fall is to:

✅ Make the current park safe and secure
✅ Prepare the land for the nature playground
✅ Cover a large section with sand
✅ Install Mud Kitchen area

We are putting together a list of physical items needed - watch for donation information.

Once the first phase is done, we will be able to plan over winter, source materials and fundraise to make the park the best it can be.
