Lowell Alliance

Lowell Alliance We help Lowell, MA families and neighborhoods thrive by connecting them with critical resources and empowering them to fulfill their vision for community.

We believe communities thrive when families and neighborhood groups can readily access needed services, with the leadership and self-advocacy skills to create positive change in their lives and communities. This is best accomplished through mutually respectful partnerships, both with residents and other community organizations. By listening to each other, appreciating diversity, and fostering incl

What a beautiful day in Lowell!

It was inspiring to see so many organizations, community partners, and volunteers come together to connect residents with resources and opportunities for their families. The energy was amazing, the conversations were meaningful, and the sense of community was stronger than ever.

A special thank you to NFI for bringing together yet another amazing event and creating opportunities for our community to connect, learn, and thrive.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS, LOWELL! 🚨

This past Saturday at Acre Fest, something incredible happened.

Thanks to the dedication of our amazing volunteers and the overwhelming support of Lowell residents, we helped reach the statewide goal of collecting 25,000 signatures needed to put Rent Control on the ballot this November!

This milestone belongs to all of us, the volunteers who spent countless hours talking with neighbors, the community members who stopped to learn more, signed petitions, and shared their stories, and everyone who believes that housing should be affordable, accessible, and stable for all.

Acre Fest was more than a celebration; it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together around a common vision for a better Lowell. Every conversation, every signature, and every act of civic engagement brought us one step closer to giving residents a voice on one of the most important issues facing our city.

At Lowell Alliance, we believe that strong communities are built when neighbors show up for one another. Saturday proved that Lowell is filled with people who care deeply about creating a city that is welcoming, inclusive, and affordable for everyone.

To every volunteer, resident, partner organization, and supporter: THANK YOU. Your commitment, passion, and belief in a better future made this achievement possible.

The work continues, but today we celebrate what we accomplished together.

Lowell is strongest when we stand together.

Great things happen when organizations and communities come together!

Today, Lowell Alliance joined forces with Metro Mobility https://www.metromobility.io/ and community partners to help spread the word about Lowell’s exciting new $1 all-day e-bike rental program for income qualified residents. It was amazing seeing community members test ride the e-bikes, learn about the program, and connect with resources that can make transportation more affordable, accessible, and sustainable in our city.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us today, and to Mayor Erik Gitschier for sharing words about the importance of partnerships and bringing innovative resources like this to Lowell, especially for residents and families who can benefit from more affordable transportation options.

Together, we continue building a healthier, greener, and more connected Lowell for all.
