Creating pathways to homeownership 🏡

With support from a $15,000 grant from the Greater Lowell Community Foundation, Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership helped 37 households take the first step toward owning a home.

Expanding access to the arts for every child 🎶

Through an Arts Elevate Equity Grant, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation is supporting the Chelmsford Children's Chorus in breaking down barriers to high-quality music education.

With 60 young singers representing 22 schools and 13 communities, this program is creating space for students to learn, grow, and express themselves, regardless of financial circumstances.

This is what equitable access to the arts looks like.

On Tuesday, June 9, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation hosted its Annual Meeting at UMass Lowell's Coburn Hall, bringing together community members, nonprofit partners, and donors to celebrate philanthropy in Greater Lowell. A total of $268,200 in competitive Discretionary Grants was awarded to 30 nonprofits serving Greater Lowell across three funding focus areas: Children's Services, Leclair Elder Services, and LGBTQ+ Services.
