Students recently had the opportunity to compete in the Region V Livestock Judging Contest. We were able to take 8 students who competed, some for the first time! Lowell FFA had a great showing, with Will Thomas being the 5th place individual, Frankie Eddy being the 3rd place individual, and the team of Lillian Schut, Chloe Kelley, Suzie Oesch, and Will Thomas being the Reserve Champions for the contest!

We would like to profusely thank the Culver's in Lowell and Cascade for donating money to our FFA Chapter. These funds will help cover member expenses during the following year!

Last week, we were able to celebrate our members at our annual awards banquet. Members who participated in contests and events from this last year were recognized for their hard work and success. We were also able to recognize our senior members who have helped us out so much. Congratulations to everyone!

Please help us congratulate our 2026-2027 Lowell FFA Officer team! These students will help guide our chapter during the next year and help Lowell FFA continue to be successful. They will be installed at our banquet on May 6th in the Freshman Commons at Lowell High School.

Yesterday we had 24 students attend the Michigan FFA Skills contests where they competed in hands on contests that help prepare them for potential future careers. We should get results back in the next week or so!
