A wonderful night celebrating Lowell CHC’s own Mercy Anampiu!

Tonight, Mercy was honored with the 2026 Steven Joncas Community Connector Award at the Greater Lowell Community Foundation's annual Celebrate Giving event.

For two decades, Mercy has worked to build bridges between Lowell CHC and the communities we serve. Her leadership has helped make our health center and community stronger, more connected, and more welcoming.

We are incredibly proud of Mercy and grateful for all she does!

Congratulations as well to fellow honorees Richard Howe and Rockland Trust, and to B.F. Butler Middle School, recipient of the Newell Flather Legacy Fund Grant Award. The evening also featured a keynote conversation with Turahn Dorsey, President and CEO of the Eastern Bank Foundation.

Thank you to the Greater Lowell Community Foundation for bringing our community together to celebrate the people and organizations making a difference across Greater Lowell.

Our residency team was on the road last week at the Family Medicine Education Consortium Annual Meeting!

Faculty member Dr. Marian Younge, Program Director Dr. Cara Marshall, and resident Dr. Akua Frimpong represented the Lowell Community Health Center | Tufts Medicine | Family Medicine Residency, meeting with attendees and sharing what makes our program so special.
