Community Teamwork, Inc. is now at Lowell CHC every Wednesday.

CTI staff will be on-site tomorrow from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in the first-floor vestibule to help connect patients with support services, including WIC, housing support, fuel and energy assistance, family services, and workforce programs.

Sue Levine, CEO of Lowell CHC, joined health center leaders from across Massachusetts for the Community Health Centers on Beacon Hill virtual legislative briefing on priorities that protect primary care access.

Sue spoke about the importance of Medicaid GME, a practical, high-impact solution that can help community health centers train future physicians in the communities where they are needed most.

Thank you to the legislators, partners, and advocates who joined the briefing and continue to support community health centers across the Commonwealth.

📢 Community Advisory: With the forecasted heat, it's important to stay safe and look out for heat-related illnesses. Extreme heat can be dangerous and even life-threatening if precautions are not taken.

➡️ For residents 60 and older, the City of Lowell Senior Center (276 Broadway) is open 7:00AM to 3:00PM with breakfast and lunch available in a cool environment.
➡️ Eliot Presbyterian Church (273 Summer St) is open Monday through Friday, 10:00AM to 2:30PM, with St. Pauls Soup Kitchen open from 2:00PM-6:00PM and serving dinner at 5:00PM.
➡️ Vinfen's Restoration Center of Greater Lowell (10 Technology Dr) is open 24/7 providing access to multiple types of support services.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and check in on neighbors who may need extra help. Please do not leave children or pets alone in motor vehicles.

Congrats to an inspiring and impressive group of honorees at Community Teamwork, Inc. Champion's of Community Action Celebration last night, including our very own Mercy Anampiu.
