In a world where emotional intelligence is not always taught, Boys Don’t Cry: Youth Edition aims to pour into our youth early by helping them build healthy communication skills, self-awareness, confidence, and emotional strength.

This powerful event will create a safe space for young men and adult men to openly discuss topics such as:

Mental health
Grief and loss
Peer pressure
Bullying
Family violence
Emotional expression
Healing and resilience

We are proud to support our very own UTEC Transitional Coach, Jerome “Rome” McNulty, alongside other speakers and panelists are dedicating their time and lived experiences to help uplift and guide our youth in meaningful ways.

Young adults in our culinary program designed their own aprons! 🧡

With the branding and design studio in our woodshop, they can create custom gear and hands-on projects that build creativity, confidence, and real-world skills across programs.

🏁 Some friendly competition is underway at our Lowell center 🏁

Young adults are putting their rally racing skills to the test on the driving simulator, competing for the fastest lap time on the same track using the same car through mid-June 🎮🚗

It’s been a fun way to build connection, unwind, and bring a little extra energy into the space as summer approaches

A glimpse at last week's “Violence Is Not the Answer” community response circle in Haverhill 🧡

These conversations matter. Healing, accountability, and safer communities start with us.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the incredible educators who show up every day for young adults and families at UTEC 🧡

From HiSET classes to culinary arts, woodworking, career readiness, hands-on job training, and our 2Gen early childhood education team, our teachers and educators do so much more than teach. They build trust, encourage growth, create opportunity, and help young adults and children believe in themselves and their futures.

Learning at UTEC doesn’t always look traditional, but transformation is happening every single day because of the patience, creativity, and commitment of this team.

Help us celebrate the latest Transformational Beginnings graduation 🎓🎉

These young adults have put in the work to lay the foundation for what’s next, taking important first steps like getting their IDs, opening bank accounts, and building the stability and confidence to move forward.

This group also made history as the first to use our new kitchen space in Haverhill 🙌

Today, we’re excited to welcome them to our Lowell center as they take the next steps on their journey. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

They’ve been putting in the work- long hours, late nights, and showing up day after day to keep our communities safe.

They’re out there building relationships, planning and hosting free community events, de-escalating conflicts, and supporting young people in real time. Really, doing whatever it takes to keep the peace.

This work doesn’t always get seen, and it’s not easy, but it matters more than ever.
