The Lowell Spindle City Corps: Service, Diversity and Education

Working in partnership Community Teamwork, Inc. and Lowell National Historical Park offer local youth meaningful employment opportunities in the national park that reach into the community of Lowell. The Lowell Spindle City Corps, established in 1994, includes the maintenance team that assists park maintenance staff assisting with pr

ojects such as cutting brush and prepping the park and city for the Lowell Folk Festival, the Youth Theater Program team works with interpretive park rangers providing talks to visitors and the Trades Skills team working alongside skilled craftsmen on historic preservation projects.
