Dia de Portugal practices start TONIGHT at 6:00 PM at the Parish Hall — and there is still plenty of time to sign up!
Please help us spread the word and encourage friends and family to join us!
Everything we do is about keeping Portuguese pride alive for the next generation. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing our children celebrate our culture, traditions, music, and community together.
If you are unable to fill out the Google registration form beforehand, don’t worry — paper registrations will be available at practice tonight.
We hope to see everyone there at 6:00 PM!
Viva Portugal! 💚
Viva as comunidades portuguesas! 💛
Viva Lowell! ❤️
🎶🇵🇹 Lowell’s Dia de Portugal celebration is almost here, and we want our community’s children to be part of this beautiful tradition! 🇵🇹🎶
Children ages 3+ are invited to learn this year’s featured song, “Uma Casa Portuguesa” by Amália Rodrigues, and perform during the Dia de Portugal parade and flag-raising ceremony on Wednesday, June 10, 2026!
Last year, over 60 children joined us for this incredible performance, filling the streets of Lowell with Portuguese pride, music, and energy. We cannot wait to make this year even bigger and more special! ❤️💚
Children will learn the song along with simple choreography during practices at Saint Anthony’s Parish Hall. Each child must attend at least three practices to participate, but we would love to see everyone join us as often as possible!
Every participant will receive a FREE t-shirt for the performance. 🎤✨
🇵🇹 Parade begins at 6:00PM at the Reds’ Club
🇵🇹 Ends at Lowell City Hall for the annual flag-raising ceremony
Come celebrate our heritage, our language, and our community with us! There is nothing more special than hearing dozens of children singing together in Portuguese through the streets of Lowell. 🎶
