Hello Friends,
Hope everyone is safe.
After yesterday’s events, there is a clear need for more organized communications in our area. The Coles County EMA is supporting a community-wide mission to gather and support these needs by offering a meeting to recruit and better understand the need and efforts throughout the area. If interested, please plan to attend the coordination meeting June 30th from 1-2pm at the Sarah Bush Lumpkin Education Center inside the Hospital.

Come out to Peterson Park in Mattoon on June 27th for our annual Field Day experience. Bring a friend and join in on the fun. Not licensed? No problem! Anyone is able to get on the air with our radio setups and make some contacts near and far. Come try it! Let us know if you are interested in taking the License exam and we can arrange to do so this day as well. See you there! Setup begins at 10am and we will go until 5pm. We will be in the Bandshell area.
