Some think today’s youth spend too much time on their phones. The Missions Week Youth Group spends their time out in the community doing projects for those who need a helping hand. We were lucky to be able to meet some of them when they came to the Pantry to help unload a delivery truck. These young men and women put away 11,000 pounds of food and bagged 1,100 pounds of pet food in the heat and humidity. The team of 53 young folks and 16 leaders have worked all week painting, landscaping, making repairs in the community in addition to helping us help our neighbors. It was a real privilege to meet them and we thank them for all their efforts!
