🍿 The Town of Lovettsville invites you to kick off the 2026 Lovettsville's Summer on the Green Movie & Concert Series on Friday, June 12th with a special America’s Pastime evening featuring the United States Navy Band, Country Current, followed by a showing of A League of Their Own!

A huge thank you to the Lovettsville Waterford Ruritans for sponsoring the evening’s movie presentation and helping make this community event possible!

The Lovettsville-Waterford Ruritans will be serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips, popcorn, soda, and Gatorade, and will also have a Prize Wheel for attendees to spin throughout the evening!

One Family Brewing will be onsite serving beer, wine, and a special Bourbon Mule. Gruto's Soft Serve on Wheels will also be joining the evening with sweet treats to complete the perfect summer evening!

The first 100 attendees will receive a FREE bag of Cracker Jack!

Be sure to grab a raffle ticket upon entry for your chance to WIN several amazing prizes generously donated by the Purcellville Cannons, including:

We rose early to collect trash along our historic roadway in Waterford, gathering eleven bags of waste to maintain Virginia's pristine beauty.

This Sunday, May 3rd, is the first Sunday food drive to benefit the western Loudoun food pantry. The food will be collected during worship and blessed before being put into the pantry. In addition to donated items, the pantry always appreciate food card to Giant or Weis.

The current urgently needed items are the following:

Attention Waterford residents and members of the various Ruritan clubs.

This Sunday May 3rd at 12:15 we are recognizing Robert Elgin Carr at the Catoctin Presbyterian Church.
He passed March 29, 2025. We are dedicating a Memorial Bench in his name.

He was very involved in preserving and supporting his church. Holding almost every job needed at the time. His ancestors were the founding members of the Church Charter back in 1774.

Robert was one of the founding members of the Lovettsville-Waterford Ruritan Club which was started in 1992. Robert was a true fixture and active member of the community.
Supporting the Waterford Fair by controlling and heading the parking for that event and others.

He was a farmer through and through, a member of the Beef Club (supporting 4H & future farmers) and was always willing to give any upcoming farmer lots of advice.

Please join us if you have known Robert or was a part of any organization he was involved in.
The Ruritan Club is proud to call him a big part of who we are as a group.

We were happy to support our community and the food bank!

We would like to thank the Lovettsville community for their attendance at the dinner on Tuesday, in support of the Western Loudoun Food Pantry. Their contributions will have a significant impact.
