The very first Polio vaccine was invented in 1950, followed by other versions in 1955 and 1963. In this clip, you witness the very first Polio vaccine administered by Rotary International. We've been doing it ever since, saving hundreds of thousands of lives in the process. Save the date for the World's Largest Polio Walk, October 24, 2026, 10am at Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL. Thank you Kris Tumilowicz for the photos, we're so excited for Tom Brooks' leadership in the coming year! It was wonderful to have a nice crowd of Rotarians and friends to celebrate his installation.
