Workforce Development Opportunity!

Great News!!

Lovelock will be hosting one of the first Build NV Core Workforce Training classes, focused on entry level training for construction, building maintenance and other applications. This will be hosted at the Pershing County High School in their incredible shop classroom. This is the first of what we hope will be many classes offered, with Great Basin College support, that focuses on job skills to get students into employment opportunities quickly.

Where: PCHS Shop Classroom
Date: August 3 – 13, 2020
Time: 730a – 330p

We need students!! Must be 18 years or older. Space is limited and filling up quickly!

Please contact JOIN Inc. Arlene Gonzalez at 775-623-6218 for available scholarships for the $550 tuition. Additional tuition support will be provided by the Nevada Builders Alliance Foundation guaranteeing that interested persons will be able to attend the classes at no cost to themselves. Additionally, our mining partners in the region are supporting this workforce training opportunity.

This is a great opportunity for our community, providing additional workforce training and expanding possible job opportunities in the region.
