Cardinal Land Conservancy, Inc. is a land trust working to preserve land in the tri-state area. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Our office is located at 930 O'Bannonville Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140. Working together for more than a year, three land trusts have merged to became Cardinal Land Conservancy—one strong regional land trust that works in seven Southwest Ohio counties to preserve quality of life in the places you love.

Bridge #2 is done at Todd's Fork! We're building about 3.5 miles of new trail through the preserve, and there will be at least 6 bridges when it's finished. Two down!

Pack a lunch and join us at Bahr Farm! Bring the family for an outdoor picnic and guided farm tour on Sunday, October 18th from 11am to 2pm. We'll have soft drinks, water, and cookies ready before the tour, and parking is available on-site. The event is free, but donations are appreciated. Wear footwear for uneven, muddy terrain, and bring a blanket and your picnic lunch. We can't wait to see you there! Email [email protected] for more information.

Westmark Woods made the Footpaths blog! A local hiker explored our newest public preserve and found wolf trees, a grove of spooky Osage oranges, Jack-in-the-pulpit, and even a young chestnut tree. We've got a honeysuckle problem at Todd's Fork, and we need your help! Join us this Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 AM to noon to pull invasive bush honeysuckle and make room for native plants. Coyotes spotted! Look who walked past the trail camera. That dark one is a black (melanistic) coyote. Fewer than 1 in 10 coyotes have this coat, and the gene behind it came from domestic dogs, passed into coyotes and wolves through interbreeding long ago.

Field work takes many forms, and one is stream surveys! Our team is out checking stream and water quality, which helps us make smart land management decisions and care for our preserves. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible!

Our first bridge at Todd's Fork Nature Preserve is officially done! We had to make sure it could handle a little dancing before anyone else crossed it.
