We had some impressive young leaders join us at Thursday's Rotary meeting!

We welcomed recent RYLA and Young RYLA participants who shared stories from their summer camp experiences. They spoke with confidence, enthusiasm, and maturity about what they learned, the friendships they made, and their time at camp.

We're proud that the Loveland Thompson Valley Rotary Club could help make these experiences possible and support the next generation of leaders!

Call for entries for next year's Colorado Governor's Art Show & Sale!

Calling all Colorado artists! Submissions are now open for the 2027 Colorado Governor's Art Show and Sale.

For more than three decades, the Governor's Art Show has celebrated the best of Colorado art. Painters, sculptors, and mixed media artists are invited to apply for a chance to be part of this juried exhibition.

Deadline to apply: November 20, 2026
Show dates: May 15 - June 12, 2027 at the Loveland Museum

It was a pleasure welcoming Rotary District Governor team member David Dunn to our club last week! We enjoyed sharing lunch, learning more about the exciting plans for District 5440, and discussing ways we can continue to grow Rotary's impact right here in our community and around the world.

Thank you, David, for your leadership, inspiration, and encouragement to keep finding new ways to serve. Together, we can create lasting change!

Art that gives back to the community! ❤️

Stop by the LTVR Club booth at Grimm Brothers Oktoberfest tomorrow from noon–8 p.m. and pick up one of our Garden Hearts.

Each Garden Heart is a piece of local art with a bigger purpose. Proceeds from our Garden Hearts sales are given back to organizations making a difference right here in our community.

Come enjoy Oktoberfest, say hello to our Rotary members, and take home some art that does good!

Corn shuckin’ teamwork at the Corn Roast Festival! 🌽

Members of the Thompson Valley Rotary Club rolled up their sleeves alongside family members and a member of our new satellite club to help keep the corn coming. It was a great day of service, community and plenty of fun!

We love getting out in the community together — especially when corn is involved. 🌽

What fun!

Last week, we welcomed Angus, a local therapy dog, and his "co-worker," fellow Loveland Thompson Valley Rotary Club member Linda. Angus has the important job of greeting and calming passengers at Denver International Airport, while also supporting people in a variety of other settings.

Linda shared more about Angus's breed, his training, and the comfort he brings to the people he meets. We also learned that doggie biscuits are a very effective workplace incentive!

Last week, we welcomed naturalist Kevin Cook for a fascinating presentation on Colography—the study of Colorado. From our landscapes and wildlife to the stories that shape our state, Kevin kept us engaged from beginning to end. We could have listened for hours!

The meeting also included a fun reunion when one of our club members shared that he and Kevin had been high school classmates back in Iowa. What a small world!

Our weekly meetings feature interesting speakers, community connections, and plenty of good conversation. Guests are always welcome, and we’d love to have you join us today or for an upcoming weekly meeting!

It's been a busy and exciting couple of weeks for Loveland Thompson Valley Rotary!

At the end of June, we celebrated our annual Changing of the Guard as Kathi wrapped up her year-long presidency and passed the crown to Aaron, who will lead our club in the year ahead. Thank you, Kathi, for your wonderful leadership and service!

Aaron led his first club meeting last week, where we welcomed Patrick Padden of Padden Permaculture for a thoughtful presentation on permaculture and designing better systems rooted in community - very Rotarian!

We were also proud to celebrate club member Carrie, who was named Rotarian of the Year for the TVR Club. Congratulations, Carrie!

Here's to another year of service, connection, and community impact!

Garden Hearts are available today! 🌼

Loveland Thompson Valley Rotary is selling our 2026 Garden Hearts at the Loveland Youth Gardeners farm, located at 2500 E 1st St.

This year’s heart was designed by local youth artist Mya Tejeda, and proceeds support the wonderful work of Loveland Youth Gardeners.

Stop by, pick up a heart for your garden, and help support local youth as they grow something great in our community!
