Feeling Anxious or Depressed? God's Word Offers Hope....
Have you ever struggled with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or panic attacks?
I have. And if you have, too, I want you to know something from the very beginning:
You are not alone.
I've walked through seasons of deep grief, anxiety, panic attacks, and loneliness. I'm not speaking as someone who has all the answers—I'm speaking as someone who has discovered God's faithfulness in the middle of the struggle.
Sometimes it feels like Christians are supposed to have it all together. We think that if we truly trust God, we shouldn't struggle with anxiety, depression, or panic attacks. It can almost feel embarrassing—even taboo—to admit we're hurting, as though our faith should make us immune to life's hardest moments.
But that's not what the Bible teaches.
God never promised we'd never experience fear, grief, loneliness, or overwhelming emotions. He did promise that He would be with us through them.
In fact, the Bible reminds us there is "nothing new under the sun."
God knew His children would face these very struggles. That's why He didn't leave us without hope. He gave us His Word, His presence, and one another.
God has provided what we need to find hope, healing, and strength for the journey. Sometimes He comforts us through Scripture. Sometimes through prayer. Sometimes through a trusted friend, wise counsel, or the care of a medical professional. He often works through all of these to remind us that we never have to walk through our struggles alone.
One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 12:25: "Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up." (NIV)
Other translations say:
"The weight of worry drags us down, but a good word lightens our day."
"Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad."
Sometimes that "good word" comes from a friend. Sometimes it comes through a message like this. But ultimately, the greatest Good Word is God's Word. It reminds us who He is, how deeply He loves us, and that He will never leave us or forsake us.
In this video, I'm sharing biblical encouragement and practical hope for anyone walking through anxiety, depression, loneliness, or panic attacks. If you've been carrying a heavy burden, I pray these truths remind you that God sees you, loves you, and is walking beside you every step of the way.
If this message encourages you, would you consider sharing it with someone who may need hope today? You never know who may need this reminder that they are not alone.
Remember: You don't have to carry your burden alone. God is near, and there is hope.
