Freedom Path is a ministry that helps people find healing, purpose, and peace through faith, community, and connection with horses.

What started as a gift became a journey—and now, it's a place where others discover their own path to freedom. Freedom Path has three different stages for participants. Freedom Path is a program designed to help females ages 12 and up discover their eternal purpose through listening prayer, scripture, a personal mission plan called the Path©, a profiling tool called the PEP©, and of course beautiful horses. After completing an initial seven week program, participants have a clearer idea of how they were uniquely designed by God for a specific purpose…”their Ephesians 2:10 calling.” They “graduate” from this first phase with a mission statement and vision for their life that act as guard rails to keep them on track. Path Partners is a follow up program to Freedom Path. It is open to all Freedom Path participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Path Partners meets monthly and is designed to create accountability. We help members remain on mission and further develop their life vision through coaching, group discussion, prayer and more time with the horses. A one-on-one program led by a certified, experienced coach that helps clarify your life purpose and leads you through listening exercises, the profiling tool; the Path and the personal mission plan. This can be done with or without horses.

Alfie loves getting to do The Path with Emerson! 🤎 His favorite parts? “Helping” her journal and, of course, soaking up all the scratches he can get. We love seeing the special relationships that form between our participants and their horses throughout The Path! ✨

We are so grateful for the incredible team of volunteers from Maronda Homes and New Home Star who spent the day serving alongside us at Freedom Path last week! 🤍

From giving our horses some much-needed baths, to cleaning saddles and bridles, to completely transforming the inside of our barn, this amazing group jumped in wherever they were needed and accomplished so much.

Their generosity with their time and willingness to serve means more than they know. Every task they completed helps us continue creating a welcoming, well-cared-for space for our horses and the individuals and families who come through Freedom Path.

Thank you, Maronda Homes and New Home Star, for making such a meaningful difference at Freedom Path! We truly couldn’t do what we do without generous people like you who are willing to give their time and lend a helping hand. 🐴🤎

✨ There's something special about walking through The Path with your sister who is also your best friend.

Linda and Lamisi are going through the Path together, encouraging one another, growing in their faith, and creating memories they'll carry with them long after their final session.

And it seems they're in good company... 🐴 Grace and Rex are the best of friends, too! We like to think they enjoy sharing this time just as much as Linda and Lamisi do. 🤍

If you ever wondered what pure joy looks like...

It's this. 🐴🌿

Grace and Alex take their post-lesson recovery very seriously... and apparently, the best way to do that is with a full-body roll in the grass! Rolling is one of the ways horses scratch an itch, loosen up, and simply enjoy being horses.

We think they've mastered the art of self-care. 🤍

Mary has wasted no time making herself at home around the barn. Whether she's climbing trees, stopping by to say hello to the horses, or keeping our older barn cat, PJ, on his toes (or maybe just annoying him!), she's always bringing a little extra joy and curiosity wherever she goes.

✨ Devorah and Mia recently celebrated the completion of The Path with a special finale, where they shared what God had been teaching them with their families and introduced them to their horses, Esther and Rex.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the growth, healing, and deeper relationship with Christ that God cultivated throughout their journey.

🐴 Alfie is all saddled up and ready for his next Path Partners lesson!

Did you know that after completing The Path, participants have the opportunity to continue their journey through our Path Partners Lesson Program?

Each lesson begins with prayer and riders also receive a Scripture verse to reflect on and are encouraged to continue journaling at home as they grow in both their faith and horsemanship.

Whether you're looking to build confidence in the saddle or simply enjoy more time with these incredible horses, Path Partners is a wonderful way to stay connected with the Freedom Path community.

🐴 Horse Spotlight: Alex (Take Me to the Moon)

Alex is a bit of a worrier by nature. He likes to know what's ahead, but once he learns to trust his rider, he settles in and faithfully follows.

How often are we the same? We want to see the whole path before taking the next step, yet God simply calls us to trust Him.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." — Proverbs 3:5

When he's not helping participants grow in faith and confidence, Alex enjoys his favorite things—peaceful trail rides, rolling in the field and even giving hugs!

We're so thankful for the gentle lessons God teaches through Alex. 🤍

✨ Team Member Spotlight: Jakob ✨

Meet Jakob, one of our wonderful team members at Freedom Path!

After completing The Path and later Family Path with his parents and brother, Jakob now serves faithfully around the barn. Whether he's cleaning stalls, grooming horses, or caring for the property, he's always willing to lend a helping hand.

Recently, while working in the barn, Jakob noticed a baby bird on the ground beneath its nest. As he looked up, he discovered the rest of the nest tucked safely above. Now, one of his favorite parts of the day is checking on them. If he gently wiggles his finger near the nest, the little birds eagerly open their mouths, thinking it's time to be fed! It's a sweet reminder of God's incredible care for all of His creation.
