Today was the first event in the Pulliam. A Dia de Los Mu***os was a great initial test drive for the facility with vendors, speakers, refreshments, guests, face painting, and cultural activities I caught a few photos at the end. Next Saturday is the ribbon cutting to officially mark opening after renovations.

Preparations for spring landscaping, beverage stations in the ballroom, and new lighting features in the lobby. It is looking good!

Ribbon cutting is November 8th, 1pm to 3pm. The finishing touches are being completed. These photos show new clock hands, no ugly window air conditioners, a new marquee and flag pole. Inside is a refinished ballroom floor, elevator, updated interior, new heating and air conditioning systems, new lighting, an updated stage, the latest audio and video technology, and so much more.

The finish line is just around the corner. Renovations are in the final stages. The ballroom floor is finished, the new marquee is in front of the building. New heating and air conditioning is installed. An internal elevator and new restrooms are ready. The city is making plans for a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 8th. We don't have a time yet. Here is the link to the city's webpage on the facility. They are starting to book events at the Pulliam Community Building. If the 86-year-old Pulliam Community Building could talk, it would tell tales about teenage dances and parties, pivotal decisions by city officials and the generations of residents who passed through its doors.

These photos show the latest in the renovations of the building. While there is little activity on the outside, the inside is coming along nicely and on schedule. Project construction completion is next spring.

The photos show studs for new walls, the new handicap accessible restrooms, some of the new air conditioning units, new wiring conduits, the inner works of the clock on the outside, the ballroom and the banquet room downstairs.

It will be vibrant again in downtown Loveland.

I had a tour of The Collection and enjoyed seeing those new luxury condos. The best part was knowing they are across the street to the northeast of the Pulliam Community Building. Great balcony views. The Pulliam is the tallest building in the photo.
