Julie Knechtges (Vocal Director) is so happy to be working with the kids of NoCoPA on this show - including her daughter Zoey! She has been music directing shows in the area for the past year and a half, and before that was the resident music director for youth programs with NightBlue Theater Company in Chicago for 3 years. She has also performed on stage in many shows (both in CO and in the Chicago burbs), worked nearly every backstage/tech position, and taught private voice and piano.
When not at the theatre, Julie can be found spending time with her husband and 2 kids Zoey and Blaze - preferably outdoors somewhere cool. Or reading. Thank you to family for the support, Zoey (and all the kids in the show) for letting me coach you, and to NoCoPA for being a fun place to play!

Winners will be drawn at the closing show during intermission. Although, winners do not need to be present, they will need to plan a time to pick up their basket.

Erin Kendall (Assistant Director) is excited to make some magic for her 7th NoCoPA show! She recently appeared in “Let the Right One In” and “Pippin.” She has performed in more than 30 productions in Wyoming and Colorado, as well as directed, desinged costumes and sound, and worked backstage! She is also currently the secretary of the NoCoPA Board. When she’s not doing theatre, she’s an attorney by day and spends her free time fostering kittens! She hopes you have a magical time!

Isabella Greve (Costume Designer) has been acting and singing in theatre on and off her whole life, but really dug her heels in and preforming non stop,starting in college, the last 4 years! This is her first show for costume designing, and second overall show at NOCOPA. She was last seen playing Micke in NOCOPA’s Let the right one in. She was on costume crew for all the college shows she wasn’t preforming in. She has taken a costume construction class at a college level, as well as received training from a professional college level costume designer! Isabella absolutely adores children, so being able to be all this performers’ Fairy Godmother has been so much fun! She is so so thankful for Kris, Erin, Julie and Arielle for trusting and helping her in this process. We hope to see you once upon a dream alongside these amazing imagineers!

Kris Heiser (Director/ Choreographer) was introduced to theatre by her 5th grade teacher and has been participating in one aspect or another ever since. Kris is an educator with a passion for children’s theatre. She recently moved to CO from the Bay Area, where she founded and directed the Drama Program at St. Catherine School for 27 years. In addition, she directed theatre at the high school level and theatre arts summer camps as well as performed in community theatre.
A former junior high teacher, Kris loves working with children transitioning from childhood to teenagers.
When she’s not busy working on a show, Kris enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 kids, 2 granddaughters and extended family. Kris is thrilled to be working with such a welcoming and supportive theatre community at NoCoPA!

Samuel Grandprey is so excited to be a part of “Dare to Dream, Jr.”! This is his 6th production with NoCoPA. He has loved getting to sing a solo in not one, but TWO of his favorite Disney songs in this production! He hopes you enjoy seeing the show as much as he has enjoyed being in it!
