Larimer FOP Lodge 4

It is with profound sadness that we share that two of our brothers and one of their family members were killed in a tragic motorcycle accident while traveling in Idaho. These men selflessly served our communities.

The families have requested privacy as they process this loss and work to bring their loved ones home. We ask that you respect their wishes during this difficult time. Our Lodge and Auxiliary Lodge are actively coordinating with the Sheriff’s Office to support the families.

We have received an incredible outpouring of support from the community and our fellow brothers and sisters in blue. At this time, there are no specific needs. For those wishing to contribute, donations can be made through a dedicated fund established by the Colorado Peace Officers’ Foundation and the Colorado State FOP Lodge. These contributions are tax-deductible, and the full amount goes directly to the families—unlike third-party crowdfunding sites. Please remain cautious regarding links from unverified sources. FOP Lodge 4 will never solicit donations via call, text, or email.

Katherine Hidalgo, 26, was a dedicated police officer who proudly served with the Littleton Police Department since 2024. Her commitment to protecting and serving her community, she was an extraordinary daughter, a loyal friend, and a compassionate coworker whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. Katherine was a devoted mother to her two-year-old son, whom she loved more than anything in the world. Her sudden passing following a medical emergency has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues, but her warmth, courage, and love will forever be remembered.

The Colorado Police Officers Foundation (the Colorado FOP's Foundation) is assisting Littleton Lodge 26 FOP with a fundraiser to help the family of Katherine Hidalgo. The Colorado Police Officers Foundation is a 501c3 charity and donations are tax deductible so please donate using the link below:

If these officers are going to be fired for supporting ICE, then make them special agents.”
- Tom Homan, U.S. Border Czar

Law enforcement officers shouldn't be punished for standing with those who enforce our nation’s laws. When political agendas outweigh public safety, it’s time to speak up.

Newsmax stopped by the 67th National Conference to hear from National FOP VP Joe Gamaldi. He laid it out straight – from what it really takes to keep officers safe to how we fight for better staffing and support nationwide. If you wear the badge, this is the voice speaking up for you.

✨ As the clock counts down to 2025, we take a moment to reflect on the year behind us—the challenges faced, the sacrifices made, and the victories achieved by law enforcement officers across the country.

To our officers: thank you for your unwavering commitment to protecting and serving, even when it means missing milestones with your loved ones or stepping into harm’s way.

To the families and communities who support us: your strength and encouragement fuel our mission.

Here’s to a brighter, safer future and another year of service. Stay safe tonight and every night! 🕛

'Twas the shift before Christmas, and all through the town,
Officers stayed ready, no one slowing down.
While families gathered, they kept watch through the night,
Ensuring peace, no matter the fight.

On Christmas Eve, Officer Miller raced to a crash,
Helping the injured in a flash.
Through snow and rain, the calls didn’t cease,
But their dedication brought safety and peace.

Though away from family, they gave all they could,
Because serving others is their greatest good.
This holiday season, let’s honor their might,
For heroes in blue make the season bright.
