Loveland -Ohio- Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association The LCPAAA is a group of volunteers in Loveland, OH who have graduated from the Loveland Citizens Police Academy course and continue to help the LPD.

The LCPAAA is a group of community members who have graduated from the Loveland Citizens Police Academy course. The LCPAAA hosts meetings every other month, continuing our CPA education and planning for our volunteers to help the Loveland Police Department at community events throughout the year.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Emergency Services Scholarship, sponsored by the Loveland Police Department and the Loveland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. This is a $1000 scholarship which will be presented to a student who intends to seek Ohio Peace Officer Certification Training or a degree in Criminal Justice or a related field. To request scholarship criteria and application, please email [email protected]. The deadline is February 27, 2026.

22nd Annual Blue Mass Celebration
Sunday, September 28
Fr. Steve Angi, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and City of Cincinnati Police Chaplain, will celebrate Mass to honor those who protect our community each day. The event begins at 9:45am with an outdoor blessing along 8th and Plum Streets of first responders and the vehicles used to protect us. Mass follows the blessing at 10:00am at Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, 325 W. 8th Street in downtown Cincinnati. Both Greater Cincinnati Police and Public Safety Personnel are expected to be in attendance.
People of all faiths are invited to join in prayer for the men and women who work tirelessly to ensure safe communities. Refreshments and fellowship will follow Mass.

In Memory of Angela Settell, LCPA 2011 graduate and current LCPAAA Secretary, who passed away on August 13, 2025.

Angie was a former Loveland City Council member who served from 2011 to 2019, including time as Vice Mayor. She was also involved with the Finance Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, and many other boards. Angie also served on the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department Board, as well as being an active member of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association for fourteen years, and helped plan countless community events.

Angie will be remembered for her commitment and service to the community. The LCPAAA extends our deepest sympathies to her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Angie, you will be missed.
