Meet Charlotte, an energetic Lab mix born on December 10, 2025 (almost 10 months old!), who is excited to find a loving family to match her fun-loving energy! Charlotte is fully potty trained, up to date on all of her shots, and walks wonderfully on a leash. Always ready for playtime, she loves playing ball and tug-of-war! She also loves car rides, thrives around kids, and gets along great with both other dogs and cats! With her playful spirit, happy personality, and sweet disposition, Charlotte will make a fantastic addition to any household.

Meet Dora, our hospice foster. She was set for euthanasia in a rural shelter. Instead, she got a life.

When we first learned about this senior girl, she was sitting on a euthanasia list in rural Kentucky. She was covered in mange. She had open, painful wounds. And she was so weak that she couldn’t even walk. To the shelter, she was a dog with overwhelming needs. To us, she was a dog who deserved the chance to heal. We took her in and began her journey of healing. Vets estimated she had 4-6 months of life left, so we decided to put her into a hospice foster home. We knew that her future might be short—but determined that whatever time she had left would be filled with comfort, love, safety, and dignity.

And then something incredible happened.
She healed. That was almost 2.5 years ago. Her wounds closed. Her coat came back. Her strength returned. And the senior girl who once couldn’t walk is now thriving. 🥹❤️

She gets to wake up every day knowing she is safe. She gets soft beds, full meals, gentle hands, and a family who loves her exactly as she is.

This is why we rescue.

But stories like hers don’t happen without people willing to stand behind the work. Right now, our rescue is in a desperate place financially. The medical care, medications, food, supplies, transportation, and everyday expenses that make these transformations possible add up quickly. And every dog who comes through our doors needs us to be able to say, “Yes. We can help.”

We don't want finances to be the reason we have to say no to the next dog on a euthanasia list.

Update...Puppies are Covered, thank you to everyone!!!

FOSTERS NEEDED!!! 🐾

We received a call for 5 golden retriever mix puppies, 8 weeks old. All of them are black, crazy right. 🤪 We need fosters thoe to commit, can go individually or as a pair. We would get them thursday if we can get fosters. We supply everything you need, you supply the love and care. ❤️ Please reach out if you can foster. We DO NOT HAVE PICS, THE PIC IS FOR ATTENTION AND WHAT THEY SHOULD LOOK LIKE.

Update.... She is back home :)

FOUND DOG IN LOVELAND!!!

This dog showed up at our directors house in loveland this morning. Covered in burs dirty, and no collar. Could have been missing for a while. No microchip. Please share so we can try to find owner.

IN RESCUE, EVERYDAY IS HARD!!
We get calls almost daily of people wanting to surrender their dog,Shelters reaching out as they're out of space. People threatening to shoot dogs if they're not picked up, dogs dumped them in the middle of nowhere with no where to go, cussed at for not taking them, etc The list goes on and on. There is only so much rescues can do.
With only having fosters, makes you limited on what you can take and cannot and almost daily You feel defeated, because you can't keep up with all of the calls and help all the ones you want to help. But today, this girl Lila was SAVED from euthanasia. She is thirteen years old, has only known abuse and neglect. Sometimes for one dog, it truly has to take a village to make a difference. Our favorite quote, "YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE WORLD, BUT FOR ONE DOG THERE WHOLE WORLD HAS CHANGED." Lilas world just changed today as she left to go to a foster to adopt to experience LOVE and MANY FIRSTS to come. The pure sadness in this girls eyes is heartbreaking.Thank you so much to Pet Care Animal Hospital and all of the staff ( most are not in pic) for loving on her and reaching out and taking such good care of her all week! ❤️ And for all of those that stepped up willing to foster her, has fostered, has shared, volunteered, donated, adopted etc and to her foster family now that hopefully is her forever family.. 🏡

FOSTER OR OTHER RESCUE NEEDED ASAP!!!

This sweet 12 year old girl Leila has been neglected her whole life, the owner passed away and another family member brought her in to the vet to be euthanized, the vet called us as they say she is the sweetest girl and would rather get her feeling better and shown love in her last years. She was completely flea infested, as you can see from all the hair loss, but otherwise is in good health. She has already been treated for the fleas! The vet can only hold her until tomorrow, so if we dont come up with a place for this senior girl to go, well you know what that means, we are making this post, so we as a village can come together and find a place for this girl to land!!!
