Been thinking about how easy it is to "not" choose joy especially during this political season...but I think that the response to JOY is so much better and has longer results. So even when the reporters, advertisers, candidates and all your friends make you feel like "not" choosing joy, please rise above and know your response will be exponential. Decide the return you want. If you give JOY you will get it!

Celebration of Life for my sister Carla. We all miss her loving spirit and smiling eyes. Please share with anyone you think might like to attend... anyone wishing to share stories would be greatly appreciated. As per her request only bright colors can be worn. She is happy, she is at peace with God's cloak of love covering her.
Carla Aubin Willson passed away the morning of Friday May 29th 2015 surrounded by her family. Carla leaves behind four children: David Willson (Heather), Tracey Fay (Lorren-Tripp), Jessica Wicker (Buck), and Robyn Willson. Her sister, Sue Mahoney (Raymond), and eight wonderful grandchildren. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Carla spent her life taking care of those around her. She was kind and caring and she always put other’s needs ahead of her own. Carla chose joy amidst the hardship she experienced. She started a movement “Operation Choose Joy” ( ) and founded a non-profit specifically for the purposes of finding joy through times of pain. A celebration of her life will be held at the Conesus Town Hall, 6210 South Livonia Rd. Conesus on Saturday July 11th at 1:00 p.m. In honor of flowers checks can be made out to "Operation Choose Joy" to help continue her legacy

Happy Fourth of July Everyone! This is OCJ's first true holiday without our dear Momma bird. But with that sadness comes the joyous memories of 4th of Julys past. I wore my momma's poncho and moccasins most of my camping trip. It felt like she was hugging me and keeping me warm the whole time. She was with us blowing the clouds away, and I was content only crying once.-Jessica
