📣Blaze UPDATE!

Blaze does have stones but he is not obstructed. He has been moved to UD and started on Allopurinol. Recheck in 2 weeks.
As a Dalmatian rescue, we been down this road many times. Yes, we are doing all the things. Yes, his food has been floated and he has been on a low purine diet. Who knows what he had been fed before his rescue though.
Thankfully, this was caught early and we can get him straightened out.
He is such a special boy!

MORE GOOD NEWS!
Halo tested heartworm negative!

We have the BEST NEWS!
The mass on Chase's toe is BENIGN! 🎉

It is called:
fibroabnexal hamartoma.
The cells go right up to the margins but hopefully did not cross. We have to watch for any regrowth but the odds are in his favor!

WOO HOO!! Stitches come out next week!

🔴 UPDATE: I have not spoken with the vet yet (she had another patient) but I do know he has been sent home with Allopurinol and UD. So, not obstructed at this time!

‼️Emergency! Blaze is at the vet with possible urinary obstruction. We are awaiting results to make a plan. With x-rays, ultrasound, urinalysis...the costs are rising quickly and he may be looking at surgery.

❗️We need your help. Any amount is very much appreciated. Donations may be made here:

🔸️PLEASE NOTE "BLAZE".
I will update here as we learn more.

Tena Price took some photos of Rocky last weekend while he was at All Creatures Hyperbaric Care. He was so focused on his mom and she kept calling him...he finally looked at her and stuck his tongue out! He had much more important things on his mind than paparazzi! 😂
Rocky is healing well. He has a long recovery ahead but if you saw him, you'd never know he just had his shoulder replaced! Dogs are so resilient and Rocky is incredible. He is a Warrior.
