CARE CENTER OPEN HOUSE
November 12, 11020 S Lebanon Rd, Loveland, Ohio 45140---

Thanks for your commitment to serve under-resourced families in our local communities!

It’s hard to believe that it was over a year ago that the initial kick-off of the construction of the Care Center began as an effort to bring resources together, under one roof, so that we can help even more families in our community thrive in life. In spite of all the craziness over the last several months, we’re excited to announce that we’ve completed the construction of the expanded Care Center and we’d love to have you come check it out!

You’re invited to an Open House on November 12th at two different times:

-8am-9am Open House with grab and go breakfast items
-5pm-6:30pm Open House/Ribbon Cutting with a Happy Hour and light appetizers

We’ll be providing tours, with appropriate social distancing, at each of these times and we’d love the opportunity to talk more about how we can partner together to help families advance in life. And if you’re not able to attend we’d be happy to arrange a time for you and anyone from your organization to check things out and talk more. Just let us know a good time for you.

Thanks again for your passion for serving local families and we hope that you can join us on the 12th!

This can leave you wondering if you have what it takes to get ahead in life. At The Care Center, we understa...

LIFE FOOD PANTRY: New Location and Hours!
The LIFE Food Pantry has located to a new, larger facility in the Shopper’s Haven Plaza: 541 Loveland Madeira Rd., two doors down from the BMV, four to the left of the library

New hours:
T, W, Th, F and Sat 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Tuesday and Thursday 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Closed Sunday and Monday

We are hoping that these new expanded hours will alleviate some of the wait times, especially on Thursday nights and Saturdays—come at one of the “off” times and have a shorter wait and a bit more shopping time to select your items. This new version is a “choice pantry”—you will be able to select your own food! We are operating under COVID-19 guidelines, so you will have a shopper with you to pull the items you select as you push the cart. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN BAGS—we have adopted the Aldi and Costco process and you will bag your own items

Training Opportunity: Contact Tracing
Warren County Career Center is offering Contact Tracing, a new short-term online Adult Education course through Clark State Community College, Springfield. This 10-part, virtual, self-paced course teaches contact tracing, a core disease control measure.
This short-term training can lead to immediate employment, as contact tracers are used to safely open up the economy.

The specialized training will be offered in an online format to anyone who is interested in learning the protocols for proper contact tracing of the COVID-19 virus. Contact Tracers work with patients to identify people with whom the patients have been in close contact so they can be located and informed. State and local health departments are hiring Contact Tracers now as local businesses return to work with modified operations.
