Project Self-Sufficiency of Northern Colorado Bringing the power of education to single-parents.

For more than 30 years, the work of Project-Self Sufficiency has been dedicated to transforming the lives of single parents, their families and the communities where they live and work, through access to education and career development. Our promise as an organization is to cultivate the grit and determination necessary for a lifetime of achievements for single parents and their children. In other words, we help them develop their own power, the selfpower, that is essential to push through barriers in order for them to live a completely different life.

Give the Gift of Choice This Holiday Season

For many families, the holidays are filled with excitement, traditions, and the joy of choosing the perfect gift for someone they love. But for single parents working hard to balance school, work, and family, that choice isn't always possible.

This holiday season, you can help change that.

When you support Project Self-Sufficiency's Holiday Fund, you're helping provide Walmart or Amazon gift cards to single parents and their children, giving families the freedom to choose what they need most, whether that's a special gift, warm winter clothing, or essential household items. Because no one knows their family better than they do.

Any amount helps bring us closer to our goal of helping local families experience the joy, dignity, and relief that comes with having a choice.

A BIG thank you to our amazing local donors!

This year’s Purses & Pearls event was extra special thanks to the incredible generosity of our community! We were able to include 30+ surprise prizes tucked inside our purses, and we couldn’t have done it without the wonderful local businesses featured above.

With the holiday season right around the corner, we encourage you to shop locally and show these amazing businesses some love! Supporting local means supporting the people who make our community so special.

Thank you for making Purses & Pearls even more memorable!
