We have evacuated our horses and other animals from our rescue due to the fire. They are in a pasture where they are receiving excellent care from our founder (Ruth Altman, and some gracious people that have volunteered their home. We don't know how long we'll have to shelter there or if we'll need to start seeking secondary accommodation depending on what the fire does. In the meantime we need to try to get shade for them. I am hoping there is somebody that has an extra canopy or two that would be willing to loan to us (and maybe erect as well)?
The horses are north of fort collins.
