Kentucky Voices for Health

Kentucky Voices for Health A broad coalition of organizations and individuals working to build a healthier Kentucky.

Who We Are:
KVH has been a respected voice of consumer advocates and a catalyst in health policy decision-making since 2007. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and nonpartisan coalition, we bring together individuals, advocates, community organizations, state agencies, and policymakers to address the underlying causes of poor health by connecting Kentuckians with opportunities to make change through policy

advocacy. What We Do:
At Kentucky Voices for Health, we believe that every Kentuckian should have the opportunity to live a healthy life and contribute to the health of their communities.

To achieve our vision of a healthier Kentucky, we are leading a coalition of concerned Kentuckians from across the Commonwealth to ensure that every individual and community has a voice in the local, state and national decisions that affect their health. There's still time! Apply today for Summer 2026 SEBT!

The Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (SEBT) program helps eligible students access nutritious food when school is out. Each eligible student will receive a one-time benefit of $120 to purchase nutritious food throughout the summer.

Students aged 6-17 as of August 1, 2025, who have received SNAP, KTAP, or Kinship Care for at least one month since July 1, 2025, were automatically approved and should have already received SEBT benefits on the household’s EBT card.

If your student is not considered automatically eligible, please submit an application by August 15, 2026, to https://kysebt.ky.gov. Additionally, individuals may access the application through kynect at https://www.chfs.ky.gov/agencies/dcbs/dfs/pages/sebt.asp or visit your local office to request a paper SEBT application.

Need help? Visit our website at https://www.chfs.ky.gov/agencies/dcbs/dfs/pages/sebt.aspx for additional information, QRGs and FAQs. You can also call 855-306-8959 or visit your local Department of Community Based Services office.
