Louisville history groups receive $750,000 grant to transform Revolutionary War artifacts into digital experiences.

New exhibit alert! 🚨

Join us Sunday, August 16, at 1 p.m., for a special program to discuss two of our new America250 exhibits, Revolutionary Threads and I Too Am a Kentuckian!

Joining will be special guests who created the military uniforms and other clothing seen in Revolutionary Threads, ancestors of Patriot-soldiers who fought in the American Revolution. They also happen to be members of Lexington’s Transylvania Chapter NSDAR.

Modern day soldiers will also be in attendance, including Brigadier General Rob Givens and Colonel Amy McGrath, both of whom are featured in our I Too Am a Kentuckian exhibition. They’ll discuss their military service and how Kentucky helped shape them into the people they are today.

The program is free with the cost of admission, but you will need to RSVP at fraziermuseum.org/calendar/exploring-frazier-250-exhibits.

As dusk settles over Oxmoor Farm & Estate, we welcome President Abraham Lincoln and Mrs. Mary Todd Lincoln for our screening of Glory, the story of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry, one of the first Black regiments to fight for the Union.

History comes to life under the stars tonight as part of the 250 Years of Valor film series.

Tonight: National Treasure at Waterfront Park!

It's movie night!

Join us this evening at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater for a free showing of National Treasure. Bring a blanket, grab your favorite people, and we'll see you under the stars. ✨🍿

The movie will begin at sundown, with the amphitheater open an hour before to allow guests to grab their spot. The event will include snacks and beer for purchase.

Join us under the stars at historic Oxmoor Estate for 250 Years of Valor: An American Film Series featuring the movie The Patriot. Pre-film reception begins at 7:30 PM; film starts at dark.

Explore curated historical artifacts from the film’s era before the screening, with on-site archaeologists sharing pieces unearthed right on the Oxmoor grounds. Our curator will connect the film’s story to Kentucky’s own history.
This event is free admission with a cash bar featuring Oxmoor Bourbon and handcrafted cocktails. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets. Period attire is welcomed and encouraged.
