Louisville to Honor Our Veterans on November 7!

Mark your calendar for the Kentucky Veterans Parade and Celebration in NuLu! Beginning at 11 a.m. on East Market Street, this annual event will bring together residents, veterans, and organizations from across the Commonwealth for a day of recognition and gratitude.

Expect a patriotic celebration featuring military vehicles, marching bands, color guards, and veteran groups as we honor those who have served our country throughout its history.

This year’s parade is especially meaningful as Kentucky joins the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will lead the celebration as Grand Marshal.

❤️ 🇺🇸 Come out, show your support, and help recognize the veterans whose service and sacrifice have shaped our nation!

🇺🇸Last weekend, the Louisville chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered at Historic Locust Grove to unveil their America 250 plaque honoring all who served in the American Revolution.

The Louisville plaque is one of many across the nation, with DAR chapters having unveiled similar plaques across the United States, including at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall and other historic sites of national significance.

Louisville America 250 is honored to have provided support for the project. Three Huzzahs for the DAR and all community partners who made the event possible!
