Blankets of Hope by Maleah and Friends I created Blankets of Hope by Maleah and Friends after my mom & I stopped to help a homeless man on the coldest day of the year.

I wanted to help and asked my mom if we could make blankets for the homeless. She said yes and that is how we began!

Two days ago, my mom gave one of our blankets to a veteran she sees outside of Costco. She says he is always so sweet. He told her someone is helping him to get a place. We are praying for him.

My mom is planning to have another blanket making event soon. I may still be here because I am recovering from surgery. I hope to see and meet some of you!

We made blankets with the Couples Ministry (Bates Memorial) and community members on Saturday.

My mom likes the camera...not me. I am in the video though.

Hey! Did you know that JoAnn's is going out of business? My mama and I just purchased a LOT of blanket kits, cheaply. If you'd like to purchase some to help our charity, we would appreciate it. My mama plans to have more blanket parties this fall/winter!
